ROME: Day whatever it is now (I come home next week)

We are in our final days here in Rome and for our last assignment we are creating a book using images from our trip. Everyone is working hard to produce their magnum opus. We have visited a few more sights, mostly churches, but we also visited a rare books museum and a library. The rare book museum is a laboratory where they also repair books of antiquity. The library had some rare books as well but perhaps among the most impressive things there was the giant globes, all hand crafted.

We also saw a book full of drawings from a famous artist that I can't remember right now. But they were drawings from all around Rome from hundreds of years ago. We signed in at the library in a register book.

Dinner tonight was good: Caprese (tomatoes with mozzarella), Ravioli with a cream sauce and mushrooms. Yummy! I will miss the good olive oil and fresh tomatoes.

Wow, I don't even think I need my camera anymore. You have far surpassed me in photography. I think I will just buy your photos from now on. Anyone want a 40d?

Your photos are amazing, Sean. The stories they tell...wow!

I'm sure you have so much to tell us about your trip - can't wait to see you and hear all about it!
